National Health and Wellbeing at Work Report

Looking after your health at work

Our new workplace wellbeing research found that employee health remains a taboo subject at work, even though 51% of employees have a health condition. After surveying over 2,000 employees across different generations to understand the health conditions they are currently facing we found:

  • 1 in 5 workers have suffered with mental health difficulties.

  • More than half of workers have a health issue, long-term condition, or disability yet only 19% have told their employer about it.

  • 13% of workers have left a job due to a health issue or long-term condition or disability.

  • More than a third of employees have lied to an employer about taking time off for an appointment.

So, if this is you, you're not alone. Following our exclusive research on National Health and Wellbeing at Work, we’re here to help you access the information you need to stay well.
