Request short-term structured support for life stressors such as bereavement, issues with work, or relationship difficulties, and support for mild to moderate distress.

This service is available after six months of membership 

What's included

Before treatment is offered, an assessment is carried out over the phone with a counsellor to determine the type of support that is most appropriate for you which could be:

Structured Wellbeing Counselling

This could include up to six sessions of structured wellbeing counselling which may be delivered by phone, face-to-face or video calls with one of our network counsellors.

Supported Self Help

Designed by your Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you’ll receive a set of supportive learning modules to complete either online or paper based. You’ll work through your programme and have up to six support calls either over the phone or via video call from a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to provide support and monitor your progress.
This will include agreeing progressive actions and goals that'll work to help you resolve your symptoms.

What's excluded
  • This service isn't intended to provide ongoing care or support for more severe, long-term conditions. As a result, there may be cases where we're unable to support you due to the complexity of your circumstance. In these instances, we'll provide telephone support calls with a counsellor until you get an assessment from the NHS.
  • We cannot provide counselling support when you're receiving other types of support from another service (such as the NHS or a private therapist, community psychiatric nurse, psychiatrist, psychologist and recovery programmes)
  • If we’re unable provide mental health counselling via our network, we may offer an alternative solution

To arrange an assessment to determine the type of support we can offer call us on

and select option 2

Step 2
A counsellor will carry out an assessment to determine the type of support that is most appropriate for you.

Step 3
At this stage you may be offered structured wellbeing counselling or supported guided self help.
