Benenden Hospital offers a range of self-pay options. Whilst every member is entitled to use the hospital in Kent, we recognise it may not be convenient or possible for them to do so.
Members asked, through our democratic process, whether Benenden Health could offer discounted self-funded services for hip and knee surgery at the approved regional hospitals. We've been able to extend this to four additional hospitals within our available network.
In the future, we plan to expand the number of facilities within the network where self-funded treatments are available at discounted rates to members.
Currently we only offer discounted prices for hip and knee replacements at all locations. However, members can use Benenden Hospital in Kent for other self-pay procedures and are entitled to a 10% discount on treatments costing more than £1,000 (excluding any cosmetic procedures).
The cost of your self-funded treatment will depend on the location you choose and the procedure you require.
