How to ask for help
If you’ve been a member of benenden health for less than six months, you can use our range of information and advice services.
Inside the first 6 months;
6 months and after;
If you then feel the waiting time for diagnosis is unreasonable and is causing you distress, call our Member Services on 0800 414 8100* and we will do our very best to help.
With any medical problem, you should always see your GP first. If they advise that you need to see a consultant or have tests, ask them about the NHS help available and the waiting time involved.
We strongly recommend you stay on the NHS waiting list until we’ve given you written authorisation that we can help.
When getting in touch with us;
- Have your membership number to hand so we can find your records quickly
- Tell us about the NHS waiting time you’ve been quoted and the impact the wait is having on you
- Have all your details to hand, such as the type of consultant, tests or treatment you’re looking for.
