Better breakfasts: why you should start an office breakfast club
People often think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but working in an office environment means this can often be missed or replaced by a strong cup of coffee! There are many reasons why digging into a hearty breakfast before work can be great for your health in 2016; read on to find out why you should set up a club pronto!
Rushing into the office in the morning means you may start the day off frazzled, but by getting to work fifteen minutes early, you can take stock and prepare for the day. Grab a bite to eat, read a book or a paper and make a drink, so you’re ready to start off calm and composed.
Review daily tasks
As you sit and eat breakfast, you can also review tasks and make a list of what you need to do that day and the rest of the week. By having down time without being bombarded by questions or emails as soon as you walk into the office, you may be able to organise your day much better.
Get the team together
Having breakfast as a team is a great way to bond. In fact, you could even make each other breakfast one day a week in line with breakfast week, which runs from 24th – 30th January 2016. You could even spice things up and make it into a competition, with the losers of the challenge donating to a charity of the winner’s choice.
