Benenden to speak at Leeds Big Data Week
19th October 2016
Group Head of Web and eCommerce Paul Featherstone is to speak at Leeds Big Data Week about how Benenden is changing the way it communicates with its members online.
The event is part of a week-long global event being held in cities including London, Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro and is aimed at exploring data and the power it has to bring about transformation.
Paul said: “Over the past few years members have told us that they want more personalised, relevant communications delivered through our public and member websites.”
“We have listened to our members and continue to invest in a range of improvements to our websites and online community which have created a significantly improved user experience. There are a number of exciting plans for 2017 to further enhance and personalise our digital communications which will make it quicker and easier than ever to buy and service your Benenden account online.”
Katherine Pomfret, Head of Marketing at the event sponsor Alscient said: “We are delighted to have Benenden speaking at the event. We want business leaders to have accessible ways to understand what Big Data means and the value it can bring. We also want students and the public to be able to learn and get involved in a way that makes the topic less intimidating. If you thought data was boring, then prepare to be amazed. Benenden along with other partner speakers will be showing how Big Data improves the customer experience.”
Leeds Big Data Week is one of a number of events supported by Benenden as part of a commitment to raising their profile as an innovative leading health mutual within the business community of Yorkshire.
