Former NHS Director takes customer services reins at benenden health

Benenden health has announced the appointment of a new Member Services Director. Peter Robinson will lead the development and delivery of the York-based healthcare provider’s customer service strategy including leadership of the operations teams.
Peter arrives at benenden health with more than 20 years of senior level experience in operational roles across a variety of sectors. Before joining benenden health, Peter Robinson was Managing Director of Service Delivery at the NHS Business Services Authority, leading on the delivery of central services to NHS organisations, contractors, patients and the public.
Commenting on his appointment, Peter said, “It’s an exciting time to join benenden health, an organisation which has a clear focus on providing high quality service for its members and that is reflected in the fact the business has secured the Moneywise “Most Trusted Healthcare Provider” award for three consecutive years.

Prior to his time with the NHS, Peter Robinson worked in a diverse range of operational roles – including the financial services, retail and banking sectors where his focus has been on service excellence, process improvement and relationship management.
