Executive Assistant to CEO

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join Benenden Health to provide highly confidential, comprehensive and effective support and personal assistance to the Chief Executive Officer.

This role will cover the full range of administrative and personal assistant functions including:

  • Time and travel management.
  • Research and preparation of letters, reports, policies, Board papers and other communication in line with meeting cycles.
  • Facilitate communications between the CEO, Chairman, the Board and the Society Secretary.
  • Maintain top level relationship management with the directors of the Senior Executive.
  • Support the CEO in his role as Chair of the Senior Executive.
  • Facilitate meetings and / or events as required to include attendance at meetings, bookings, hospitality, accommodation, meeting schedules, preparation and issue of agendas and papers, take and issue formal minutes.
  • Ensure adherence to the Society’s operational policies that apply to the role and embrace the values of the organisation.

In addition, the successful candidate will also have line management responsibilities for the Executive Office Support Assistant.

  • Providing EA / PA support at Director and / or CEO level
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • English GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
  • Relevant Secretarial training and qualifications including RSA III or equivalent
  • Line management experience
  • The ability to work as an individual or as a member of a team

Hours of Work 

37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
