Finance Office Support

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance Technician Team as Finance Office Support.

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Finance Operations, supporting the Finance Supervisor and Finance Technicians in their day to day duties; working effectively to carry out a number of administrative tasks within the department. Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with all post, letters and scanning that is received into the department
  • Working as part of a team, being prepared to be flexible and work in the best interests of the Society
  • To manage workloads effectively within expected timescales as required and ensure all letters are sent out as requested by the technician team
  • Have excellent customer care skills to deal with external customers
  • Accurate authorisation of member invoice payments and ensuring the payment run is authorised as per the DAL Policy
  • Deal with a variety of financial and administrative tasks within the department as required to satisfy departmental and Society objectives, and to provide effective support to colleagues at all levels
  • Support the Senior Manager Finance Operations and Finance Supervisor in the preparation of information for audit purposes

Salary

At or around £15,300 per annum, pro rata

Hours of Work 

37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
