Head of Business Change

A new opportunity has arisen at Benenden Health; we are recruiting for a Head of Business Change. Benenden Health is looking for a dynamic, established individual who can provide leadership and direction. The role will be responsible for the delivery of all programmes and project activity and major cross functional change initiatives to affect positive and beneficial change in the Society. The role reports directly into the Chief Operating Officer.

The Head of Business Change will be responsible for the leadership and development of the Business Change team and PMO function. The Head of Business Change will attend meetings with the Society Executives as appropriate and contribute when required to developing the overall strategy. In addition, the Head of Business Change will effectively contribute to and support the functioning of the Change Portfolio Committee.

The successful candidate will work with the business to help identify, shape and prioritise business transformation activity, and the achievement of strategic objectives supporting the creation and embedding of a culture of continuous improvement across the business and in particular, in respect of Member Experience.

We are keen to hear from candidates who can actively demonstrate their experience, skills and capability in:

  • Leading a Business Change team and PMO function
  • Driving business transformation through identifying solutions which result in business wide benefits
  • Successfully delivering project portfolios across the business using structured methodologies to the agreed time, cost and quality parameters
  • Engaging and influencing to Executive level, including negotiating agreeable and practical resolutions to conflict
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, (preferably business or project management related) with Project/Programme Management accreditations

At or around £66,500 per annum, pro rata, plus car allowance, currently £6,600 per annum, pro-rata 

Hours of Work 

37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
