At this year’s Sunday Times Best Companies awards, it was announced that Benenden Health had secured 45th place in the Not-For-Profit category. Now nationally recognised as one of the top 50 not-for-profit organisations in the country to work for, this is an outstanding achievement. We have been celebrated alongside other big UK not-for-profit organisations, such as Great Ormond Street Children's Charity, the National Trust and Chester Zoo.
Big-hearted business people from our local area swapped their suits for sleeping bags on 11th April. They bedded down for a cold night outside to raise funds to fight poverty and homelessness in York. Benenden Health and York City Football Club Foundation support the charity CEO Sleepout with their “sleepout” at Bootham Crescent, the home of York City FC.
Benenden Charitable Trust reached a milestone of £1 million in grants awarded since its foundation in late 2005. Founded to support those struggling under the weight of health-related hardships.
Independently-governed, the charitable trust offers grants to current and former members of the health and wellbeing organisation Benenden Health, as well as non-members recommended by the trust’s charitable partners.
