Gender Pay Gap

Benenden Health believes in equal opportunities and the principle of equal pay for equal work of equal value. So, as much as possible, our policy is to keep pay gaps to a minimum, having reported on gender pay 2017 onwards. We remain confident that employees at the Society are paid the same for doing the same work.

The gender pay gap is a measure of the difference between the average earnings of men and women across an organisation. The gender pay gap is not the same as equal pay.

Equal pay relates to men and women being paid equally for equal work. This is a legal requirement in the UK and an important matter of principle that Benenden Health is committed to and abides by.

In March 2024 we published our Gender Pay Gap Report for 2023.
