Sample Collection

Our partner, Forth has designed a home blood test service to help you proactively manage your health. The home testing kit is simple to use, and accredited labs will process your results quickly and accurately.

Collecting your finger prick blood sample is quick and easy, your test kit will include full instructions. There are a few simple things you can do to help ensure your sample is in an ideal condition for testing.

  • Some tests need to be done at specific times – check the best time to take your sample before starting.

  • Read the instructions in full before you start.

  • Keep hydrated – it helps with blood flow so it's easier to collect your sample.

  • Warm your hands – this also helps with blood flow.

  • Get your circulation flowing – simple hand exercises like wiggling your fingers.

  • Stand up!

  • Consider using a tourniquet (but remove it immediately once you're done or it hurts)

  • Be gentle – if you apply too much pressure, you can damage the sample so it can't be tested.
