As a mutual, we’re run by our members for our members. Everything we do is totally focused on our community of 870,000+ people and it has been since we started over 115 years ago.
We offer high quality, private healthcare at the same affordable cost for everyone through our parent company, The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited.
Benenden Hospital is a subsidiary of the Society and is an independent hospital in Kent with a charitable status enabling us to deliver the principle of providing first-class treatment for a wide range of specialties.
The hospital accepts Benenden Health members, private patients and NHS patients.
Supporting our community beyond healthcare
To help us support the Benenden Health Community in ways beyond our traditional healthcare offering, we created Benenden Wellbeing Limited.
Through this we develop and offer a range of products and services complementing and supporting our membership.
And as we're not-for-profit, any surplus funds are invested back into Benenden Health services so we can support members when they need us most.
