Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of this prize draw is The Benenden Healthcare Society Limited of Holgate Park Drive, York, YO26 4GG (“Benenden Health”).
   
   
2. The opening date for the prize draw is 08.00am GMT on 20 July 2026 and the closing date is 11.59pm GMT on 23 August 2026 (“Promotional Period”). Entries received after this time will not be considered.
   
   
3. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of Benenden Health, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
   
   
4. The prize draw is open to new paying members only.
   
   
5. To be entered into the prize draw, entrants must join Benenden Health. You must still be a member on the Draw Date for your entry to be valid.
   
   
6. Entry limitations and multiple entries:
   • Entrants will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Prize Draw upon purchasing membership during the Promotion Period.
   • Entrants can earn additional entries by adding named individuals ("Nominees") to their membership at the point of joining.
   • One (1) additional entry will be awarded for each valid nominee successfully added to the membership at the point of paying member joining.
   • To qualify for bonus entries, any added individual must not be removed from the membership prior to the Prize Draw date.
   • If an added individual is removed or if the underlying membership is cancelled before the draw date, the corresponding entries will be deemed invalid and disqualified.
     
     
7. A valid email address must be supplied at the point of join, or the prize cannot be supplied.
   
   
8. By entering the prize draw, or not opting out of automatic entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and confirm that you are eligible to enter. You also agree to the personal details you provide on entry being passed to a third-party supplier (Buy A Gift) for the sole purpose of delivering the prize.
   
   
9. Benenden Health accepts no responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network, or server failure of any kind.
   
   
10. Winners will be chosen by a random draw. There will be 5 individual prize draws. The qualifying periods and draw dates are as follows: (“Draw Dates")
    • Draw 1: The draw will take place on 27^th July 2026. Qualifying members joined 20^th July – 26^th July 2026.
    • Draw 2: The draw will take place on 3^rd August 2026. Qualifying members joined 27^th July – 2^nd August 2026.
    • Draw 3: The draw will take place on 10^th August 2026. Qualifying members joined 3^rd August – 9^th August 2026.
    • Draw 4: The draw will take place on 17^th August 2026. Qualifying members joined 10^th August – 16^th August 2026.
    • Draw 5: The draw will take place on 24^th August 2026. Qualifying members joined 17^th August – 23^rd August 2026.
      
      
11. Winners will receive an email from Benenden Health notifying them of their success. Following the winner’s acceptance, a link for an experience voucher from a third-party source (Buy A Gift) will be sent to the winners, allowing them to book a stay in Pinewood Pod for up to four guests with access to safari reserve at Howletts and Port Lympne Estates. This is only redeemable through Buy A Gift and must be booked direct using the link supplied, by the expiry date listed on the voucher in the email.
    
    
12. The prizes for the winners do not include travel costs or any other expenses.
    
    
13. Buy A Gift will make every effort to supply your prize to you within 30 days of your response of accepting the prize. Shortly after the Draw Date each winner will be notified by email (using details provided upon joining) and must respond within 14 days. If a winner does not respond to Benenden Health within 14 days of being notified by Benenden Health, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Benenden Health will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
    
    
14. Once a prize is awarded and accepted, the winners will be sent a link by email with a voucher from a third-party supplier (Buy A Gift).
    
    
15. The prize for the winners is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
    
    
16. Benenden Health reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Benenden Health's control makes it necessary to do so.
    
    
17. The decision of Benenden Health regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    
    
18. Benenden Health will not be held responsible for any elements of the prize. Any dissatisfaction must be taken up with the providers directly at the time.
    
    
19. Benenden Health must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Benenden Health will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails MarketingMail@benenden.org.uk or writes to Benenden Health, Holgate Park Drive, York, YO26 4GG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month of the Closing Date stated in condition 2. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Benenden Health at MarketingMail@benenden.org.uk with the subject line ‘Glamping and Safari Escape Staycation objection’ In such circumstances, Benenden Health must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
    
    
20. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Benenden Health reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
    
    
21. Benenden Health reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
    
    
22. Insofar as is permitted by law, Benenden Health, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Benenden Health, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

24. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
