Our Member Forum helps us understand what matters most to you and where we can improve. This gives us a better picture of real member experiences and helps us make changes that benefit everyone.
What is the Member Forum?
The Member Forum is a small and diverse group of members who come together around four times a year, mostly virtually, to share ideas and talk openly about what matters to them and other members.
What does the Member Forum do?
The Member Forum is a way to facilitate open conversation between members and the Society. Everyone brings different experiences and perspectives, and it provides an opportunity to share them in a way that benefits everyone. This valuable insight helps shape the choices we make, from the products we offer to our plans for the future.
Our Forum members commit to:
Attending three to four meetings a year (mostly online, with one in-person)
Engaging with members on our Online Community and at member events
Staying on the Forum for two years so conversations and improvements have continuity
What opportunities are there to join?
We're part-way through the recruitment for our first Member Forum group. A big thank you to all members who expressed interest in joining the Forum before the deadline of 18 March 2026. We'll be in touch with those applicants as we progress through the selection process to establish our first Member Forum group.
Forum members hold their place for two years. After that, we'll run a new recruitment campaign inviting members to put themselves forward. If you’re interested in joining in the future, keep an eye out for updates on our website, in member communications and on the Online Community.
