Benenden Health makes CCO Appointment

Andy McClure has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer for the affordable private healthcare provider.

Not-for-profit, affordable healthcare provider Benenden Health has appointed Andy McClure as its Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for the commercial strategy that will benefit the health and wellbeing of Benenden Health’s current and future members.

McClure joins the private healthcare provider with extensive professional services experience, having previously held positions as Marketing and Propositions Director for AXA Health, Managing Director for Marsh UK & I, and Chief Marketing Officer, Europe for AIG. He was also part of the Member Advisory Board for the International Federation of Health Plans.

In his new role, McClure will be responsible for driving the strategic commercial goals for the benefit of Benenden Health’s 870,000+ members, as well as joining the Society’s senior executive team and reporting to the CEO.

Commenting on his new role, McClure stated, "Benenden Health has carved a unique space for itself in the market. It does so at a crucial time, when the NHS needs support with waitlists, and patients need quicker access to care."
