Benenden Health support Paralympian Sophia Warner's ‘Superhero Series’ events

The private healthcare provider's support will provide funding for 15 free places for disability schools and clubs to attend its sporting events

Not-for-profit, affordable healthcare provider Benenden Health has become a ‘Corporate Friend’ sponsor to Paralympian Sophia Warner’s inclusive, ‘Superhero Series’, as part of its mission to ‘improve the nation's health'.

The Superhero Series creates inclusive and accessible sporting events for people with disabilities. The events prioritise participation and enjoyment, while eliminating cut-off times and equipment restrictions, often present in large-scale sporting events.

Benenden Health joins the likes of Tesco, Goldman Sachs and dryrobe as a corporate sponsor, or ‘corporate friend’, to provide funding for 15 free places for disability schools and clubs to attend its two sporting events. The first event, on 16th August at Dorney Lake in Windsor will be a triathlon and the second, on 7th December at the same venue, will be a Winter Wonderland-themed 1km, 5km or 10km lap around the Lake.

Not only does it promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity but can also give someone a great sense of achievement and foster strong social connectivity.
