How can I raise funds for Benenden Charitable Trust?

How can I raise funds for Benenden Charitable Trust?

Whether you’re planning to take on a physical challenge, organise a non-uniform day at work or host a bake sale, the money you raise will make a huge difference to people suffering health-related financial hardship.

Here are some tips to get you started once you’ve decided on your event or challenge:

  • Set up a fundraising page online. This is easy to do on the Justgiving website and they even coordinate the collection of Gift Aid.

  • Tell all your friends, family and colleagues about it and don’t forget us too! Spread the news on social media and don't forget to use the hashtag #TeamBenendenHealth

  • Don’t be afraid to ask people to sponsor you and explain what you are raising money for! We will happily send you some leaflets to hand out.

  • If you’d like to have a paper sponsorship form, you can download one here.

To see how your donations could really make a difference, watch some of the stories of the people we’ve been able to help.

Fundraising inspiration guide

Packed with fundraising ideas for a wide range of interests and abilities, the guide features inspiring real-life examples from Benenden Health staff and community members who have raised money for good causes.

Benenden Health makes a donation each year to cover the charity’s running costs, so anyone raising funds for Benenden Charitable Trust can rest assured that all money they raise is used directly to help people in need.

Setting up a JustGiving page

We are registered with JustGiving. This means that anyone can create a JustGiving page and raise funds online for Benenden Charitable Trust.

You can personalise your JustGiving page with photos, videos and text. Whether it's a triathlon or a cake sale, the money you raise will make a difference.

Friends can support you by donating securely through JustGiving's website, on Facebook or by text message (if you're in the UK).
