Marry Me Chicken Recipt
Whether you’re cooking for your household or treating guests to something comforting and full of flavour, this creamy chicken dish is a great one to have up your sleeve. It’s simple, quick and perfect served with fluffy rice or smooth mashed potato.

Shopping list (serves two - scale up for families or guests)
325g chicken breast
25g plain flour
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
75g sun-dried tomatoes, drained
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
75ml crème fraîche
100ml chicken stock
25g grated parmesan
Juice of 1/4 lemon
Fresh basil, to serve
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method
Lightly coat the chicken breasts in the flour.
Heat the olive oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat. When hot, carefully add the chicken.
Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove the chicken and turn the heat down to low.
Add the garlic, sun‑dried tomatoes, oregano and paprika to the pan. Stir for 3–5 minutes until the garlic softens.
Pour in the crème fraîche and chicken stock. Add the parmesan and season well with salt and pepper.
Give everything a good stir, then return the chicken to the pan.
Pop the lid on and cook for 5 minutes.
Turn the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
Remove from the heat, scatter over the basil leaves and squeeze in the lemon juice.
Serve with warm rice or creamy mash - whichever your family prefers.
