Mobile customers get improved access to Society website

The not-for-profit mutual healthcare organisation, Benenden Healthcare Society, has improved customer service and access to its website by launching a new mobile version for smart phones.
The mobile version of www.benenden.co.uk was constructed in response to high demand levels from mobile website users in the last 12 months.
Marie Knock, Digital Marketing Manager at Benenden Healthcare said: ‘The Society aims for our website to be a leading health & wellbeing portal for all our members. This latest development represents the newest step in our long-term plan to achieve this aim.
‘It was clear that there is demand for a specialised mobile version of the website that has the primary objective of being a quality health & wellbeing information portal for all members who are on the move.
‘Very few of our competitors offer dedicated mobile websites, so this is a great opportunity for us to take advantage of new promotional opportunities via mobile marketing.’
The new mobile site is aimed primarily at Benenden Healthcare’s existing members, aiming to provide them with more information about Benenden Healthcare via a mobile phone.
The site allows them to:
- Access all Society telephone numbers. Using ‘click to call’ technology visitors can simply select the telephone number they want and it automatically calls out from their mobile phone.
- View their nearest Regional Treatment Centre and its contact details through our interactive postcode look-up.
- Access information about products and services.
- Access the full Benenden Healthcare website via site links.
The site also includes information for anyone wanting to join the Society.
